Comparing clinics
Compare the plan and the people, not just the total.
What to compare
Eight things worth checking side by side.
| Compare | Ask the clinic | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| The treating dentist | Who will carry out each stage? What is their CMSR registration and experience with this treatment? | You are choosing a clinician, not a building. |
| The treatment plan | Is the plan itemised, stage by stage? Which alternatives were considered and why? | Different plans for the same problem are common. Understand the reasoning. |
| Materials and components | Which implant system, crown material or laboratory is proposed? Is it named in writing? | Two estimates can look similar and use very different components. |
| Visits and timing | How many trips, how long each, and how much healing time between them? | Travel costs and time off work depend on this. |
| What is included | Are imaging, temporary teeth, sedation, extractions and follow-up reviews included? | Exclusions are where totals usually change. |
| Guarantee and complications | What guarantee applies, on what conditions, and who pays for return travel if something needs correcting? | Get this in writing before you commit. |
| Aftercare | How are remote reviews handled? What should your home dentist receive? | Most of your long-term care happens at home. |
| Communication | Can you speak to the dentist directly, in a language you are comfortable with? | Informed consent depends on clear communication. |
How clinics are ordered on our site
Clinics pay fixed fees to be listed and to receive enquiries. Ranking is never sold, and no clinic can pay to appear higher in results or to be shown to you first. If we ever display a sponsored element, it will be labelled as such.
Where clinics are listed, the default order is based on factors we can explain: whether the clinic offers the treatment you are asking about, the city you prefer, how recently its verification was completed and how complete its published information is. You can change the sort order yourself.
What verification does and does not mean
Verification confirms specific documents at a point in time: the clinic's operating licence, each listed dentist's registration with the Colegiul Medicilor Stomatologi din România (CMSR), malpractice insurance and company records. Checks carry an expiry date and are repeated.
It does not guarantee a clinical result, and it does not replace your own judgement. The full process is described in our verification policy.
